Temporary Resident Visa
Overview of Our Services
Our Firm evaluates and, if complete, endorses the application to the Bureau of Immigration (BI) for the issuance of the visa. We will also help the applicant complete and/or prepare the documentary requirements if necessary.
What is a Temporary Resident Visa?
This is issued to an applicant who, despite the absence of immigration reciprocity between his country and the Philippines, contracts a valid marriage with a Philippine citizen.
Who may apply for TRV?
An alien spouse and unmarried children under 21 years old of any Philippine citizen may apply for TRV.
What is the validity of TRV?
TRV is valid for a probationary period of one (1) year. Thereafter, it may be extended every two (2) years.
What are the benefits of a TRV holder?
A TRV holder can be employed in the Philippines, lease real property, own personal properties and qualify for Philippine Citizenship after having established residence for at least five (5) years.
