Only one person is required to form a corporation in the Philippines

The enrolled copies of Senate Bill No. 1280 and House Bill No. 8374 (An Act Amending the Corporation Code of the Philippines) were already submitted on January 28, 2019 to the Presidential Legislative Liason Office for signature of President Rodrigo Duterte. There are foreign nationals, by reason of the gravity of their cases, are not qualified for lifting of their names in the blacklist at the level of the Bureau of Immigration Commissioner. These are foreign nationals who have been blacklisted by reason of their involvement in subversive activities; conviction of a crime involving prohibited drugs and those who are Registered Sex Offenders. These cases require special approval by the Secretary of Justice to lift their names in the blacklist.
