GTALAW Managing Partner Alexander Llanes Acain, Jr. recently visited Mumbai, India to assist in finalizing the Joint Venture Agreement among an Indian Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company, a Swiss Pharmaceutical Company and a Philippine Pharmaceutical Company to distribute branded Medicines in the Philippine market. "The Joint Venture agreement aims to lower down the high cost of medicines in the Philippine market by offering an affordable and high quality medicines to the Filipino people, this according to Mr. Shashikant A. Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of Plethico Pharmaceuticals Limited. The Philippine market is dominated by existing multi-national pharmaceutical companies which are currently selling medicines at a very high cost.
